Provide information, clear doubts, and share invaluable guidance on essentials such as footwear, backpacks, or where to stay.
Contribute to maintaining and promoting the Portuguese Camino to Santiago by restoring trails and signage, raising awareness among institutional entities and local communities, and promoting lesser-known routes.
Encourage the exchange of ideas, experiences, and knowledge with other associations, municipalities, tourism regions, and public or private entities to enhance and dignify the Portuguese Caminos leading to Santiago de Compostela.
Help to promote Portugal’s Historical, Cultural, and Natural heritage by offering pilgrims insights into points of interest along the route.

Uphold and convey the spirit of the Jacobean Pilgrimage in its historical, cultural, and practical aspects.
Inform and support the Jacobean Pilgrim.
Promote and develop hospitality along the Camino.
Encourage the preservation and valorization of the Portuguese Camino to Santiago and its associated heritage, supporting its study, research, and dissemination.
Advocate for the proper signage and maintenance of the Portuguese Caminos to Santiago.
Collaborate with national and international institutions in activities and decisions that protect and preserve the Jacobean Heritage.
Unify associations and organizations interested in promoting Jacobean pilgrimage to ensure their representation and coordination on a national and international level.
